Laboratory

The Plumas District Hospital Laboratory is a full-service laboratory offering a broad variety of tests for preventative screening and diagnostics. We routinely process a wide variety of routine and urgent tests in-house, while also utilizing a “send-out” lab to process tests that are not able to be processed in-house.

Hours are:

All patients must register with Hospital Registration in our lobby before proceeding to the laboratory. *If you are using our laboratory services on a Saturday, you must register with our Emergency Department before proceeding to the laboratory.*
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 6 pm
Saturday, 8 am - Noon

If you are required to fast for testing, then do not eat or drink anything except water for 12 hours before your lab test. Take medication as directed by your physician.
